A maritime city at its core, San Diego also features several historic ship exhibits, including the San Diego Aircraft Carrier Museum, which is built around the USS Midway aircraft carrier.
However, more conventional tourist attractions are also to be found in and around San Diego. From SeaWorld San Diego, to the Belmont amusement park and the famous San Diego Zoo and San Diego Wild Animal Park, there are a lot of destinations for the whole family to enjoy. Comic-Con, and the Street Scene Music Festival are two annual events that you should not miss.
